spambot rutili syntax

Unread postby tom kha gai » Tue May 18, 2004 4:46 pm

the spambots have been listening to califone enough to mimic rutili syntax:

tomb, had already visited, injunction, out one thing, octahedron, back and from, balustrade, few minutes later.

(that was from spambot "Brad")

That shit is funny & interesting. I find that word association very interesting, and have contemplated just copying and pasting everything I can find, but half of me says it would be a huge waste of time.......and eventually, I'd just open up a file with a million unrelated words on it.

A very beautiful girl walked up to a department store's fabric counter and
said, "How much is this?""Only a kiss a meter," replied the smirking man
assistant."That's fine." replied the girl. "I'll take for meters." The
assistant quickly measured the material, wrapped it and then gave it to the
girl. Taking it, the girl turned and pointed to an old man standing beside
her. "MY grandpa will pay the bill." she said.
A guy sits down in a Cafe' and asks for the hot chili. The waitress says,
"The guy next to you got the last bowl.¡± He looks over and sees that the
guy's finished his meal, but the chili bowl is still full. He says, "Are you
going to eat that?¡± The other guy says, "No. Help yourself.¡± He takes it
and starts to eat it. When he gets about half way down, his fork hits
something. He looks down sees a dead mouse in it, and he pukes!the chili
back into the bowl. The other guy says, "That's about as far as I got, too."

From the great spambot in the sky:

The greatest deception saten ever did is convincing the world that he does not exist. Accept Jesus, Let him save your soul, you have the choice Do not be decieved. Contact a local church or prayerline today. Once a person is in hell it is just too late. Save your soul for eternity. Pray everyday.

Rob regarded the brilliant apparition with a solemn face, but made no answer. No living person, continued the Demon, has ever before been favored with such comforting devices for the preservation and extension of human life as yourself. You seem quite unappreciative, it is true; but since our connection, I have come to realize that you are but an ordinary boy, with many boyish limitations; so I do not condemn your foolish actions too harshly.

hash busting

Unread postby tom kha gai » Thu Jul 01, 2004 4:42 pm

i'm glad to see so many random words in here. don't ask me who named this phenomenon, but it is called hash busting.

Hash Busting:
Random insertion of characters or words used to defeat signature based filters

i still find plenty of rutili syntax embedded in these supposedly random strings, and am convinced the spambots have been listening.

(for more reading on the subject, see Random Acts of Spamness.)

I love how there are hundreds of combinations of words in here that would make great rock and roll band names.

HA! nice. browsing through the busted hash, i've decided that my band name would be called Sodium Twist.

my band would look like a T-Rex glam band. we would do only cover songs by Low, and then 20th Century Boy for our encore. people would be confused. we would laugh until the joke got old and then we would break up. that is the history of Sodium Twist.

Spam wisdom

Unread postby owl » Fri Jul 02, 2004 5:43 pm

Spam wisdom - captions below the picture of a semi-nude woman:

People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid. - Soren Aabye Kierkegaard (1813-1855)

He has all the virtues I dislike and none of the vices I admire. - Sir Winston Churchill (1874-1965)

Men and nations behave wisely once they have exhausted all the other alternatives. - Abba Eban (1915-2002)

God gave men both a penis and a brain but unfortunately not enough blood supply to run both at the same time. - Robin Williams commenting on the Clinton/Lewinsky affair
