You're gonna spend the whole two weeks in NY? I highly recommend a stop at the International Center for Photography, but I'm into that kinda stuff. They used to be across the street from Central Park, but they've moved since the last time I was up there. Some good places to see live music: Tonic, The Bowery, Knitting Factory....

If you're looking for some good record/cd shops, check out Kim's Underground and Other Music. CBGB might be closing soon, so they have some good benefit shows coming up (if you're into that sort of thing).

I'm into this aswell and did allready note the ICP on my checklist.
some nice concerts would be great as addition to the everyday rocknroll.

Pick up the lastest copy of Time Out New York and the Village Voice when you get to town. Time Out has subway directions to most clubs/museums/cinemas...it comes in handy.

It pretty damn hot down here! I spent the day yesterday taking pictures of Elvis fanatics who traveled to Memphis every year for the candle light vigil to honor his death. The weather guys were saying with the heat index it was around 104 degrees...no wonder I smelled so bad....
