by special request from Austria, here's our first attempt at a collective thread of the day. if it flies, then perhaps i'll create a separate forum for our daily random hijinks.

in Sienfeldian terms, it's a show about nothing.

we don't get all that much traffic thru these parts, but if you find yourself cruisin' though town and feel like chatting with us locals, pull up a stool.

i just realized that i spelled the word "repetition" wrong in the description of "No Man's Land". where's all the smart people to chastise me for this unforgettable error?

oh i HATE myself! i hate myself and i don't deserve to live!! this is the pain and trauma that drives me to drink myself into a drunken stupor at 8:09 am.

 where's the draino?

I'm afraid to tell you...you went and misspelled "Drano"...if Mr. Yuk was here, I am almost certain he would chastise you to no end. Now for my daily hijinks: I sat in an office for 8.5 hours...I ate lots of wonton soup...I drank lots of coffee...I did what I could to stop the needless slaughter of dolphins...I tried to figure what makes asparagus appealing to people...and then I posted this.

thanks a lot, tree! mr. yuk came to me in my dreams last night and dumped a big fat Webster's dictionary right on my head! now i have a big indentation on the frontal lobe. on the bright side, the dictionary is a new edition, so i guess i made out on the deal.

and i drank lots of coffee too while at work! what are the odds? i did nothing to stop the slaughter of dolphins though. i'm glad you're around to take care of that. all i did was draw lines on my computer to represent drainage piping. yes...i'm here to champion the cause for drainage.

i would eat asparagus every single day if i could only find someone to prepare and serve it to me every single day. it makes you pee green though. like the color of mr. yuk. coincidence? oh i think not

good morning austria. it is twelve o clock, my head feels a little bit dizzy because of a smoking long night full of joy and now playing is a radio show of my concept class.
i guess this show will suck, but at least i was able to force them to play one number.
rabbit dreams by sin ropas.
yesterday i was recording the sound of the flying clouds, just as usual.
but what i then got to hear was harming me.
today i don't record the cloud's sounds.

I guess last night in my sleep, I referred to someone in my dream as Brook. Apparently my girlfriend was awake enough to hear that. Maybe I was having a Blue Lagoon dream....

last night i had a dream that i was in a store where a man sold HUGE hand carved, hand painted bookshelves that looked like jesus. 8 foot tall jesus woodcarvings with shelves. there were pretty colors of leaves painted on them too. that's all that was in the store.

maybe jesus enjoyed books. maybe i just drifted off to sleep thinking about my storage needs and solutions.

There's a song title for your band, Pshp.

NP: Amos House III (the real deal)

That Wheat song (vs. Rutili) is pretty cool. I'd never heard of them before. That they did the song in Clava.

Nothing bad ever came out of that studio, except for maybe the band Califone.

all this potential for new musical exposure, and me with no dough

perhaps we should make a thread exclusively for new music suggestions/recomendations and nothing else. maybe a nice reference library? opinions?

i'll be posting a sign up sheet for my new bible band. auditions at 5:00 am behind the church. wear something spiffy, and no swearing please.

Ive been a Califone fan for a while. I was cruising around and found your site and decided to stop in and see what other Califone fans look like.

To be honest, I figured youd be taller....
