What has happened with M. Lenzi/Resplendent?

Any one know? I checked to see if he had posted any new music on his website lately and it was gone...

Each Resplendent release was better than the previous...he will be missed if he has hung up his hat.

hey mike. the last contact i had with mr. lenzi was last june, when he sent me this email:

"My fan/friend Mike Downey, all the way from Sweden, decided to remix an ep which
I never released. He brought it back from the dead without me knowing it and
redid it.

We have web-released it and here is the link: http://www.mike-downey.com/heartphone.html
You can download the artwork and make your own cd cover.

I am happy that it got released even though I had no hopes or plans for it. Nice when that happens."

that url now redirects you to a new site, and the link to the respondent ep is now:
http://heartphone.wordpress.com/2007/06 ... ondent-ep/

the subject line of that email: back from the dead but still dead

michael had told me at one point he sold all of his musical instruments and recording gear and no intention of making music anymore. i don't know if he still feels that way. i know he got very into photography and cycling. i enjoyed his resplendent offerings, and i would love to hear more of his thoughts expressed in sound.

I'm pretty sure he occasionally plays drums for Honda Pavoratti. Not sure if they're really still playing. Google their myspace.

"Google their myspace"
That took me a minute to figure out what that meant. You kids and your new words!
You wouldn't do this if Nixon was in the Whitehouse!
