Airstream Driver cover...

Unread postby acutedeath » Fri Apr 17, 2009 9:33 pm

I just heard a "cover" of Airstream Driver on the radio. Turns out it is by Gomez, and fairly new?
I don't recommend trying to listen to it though. It somehow got turned into a pop song. Some of my favorite words failed to make the cut, even.
But I figured I'd post, 'cause I'm like that.

I heard it on the radio recently. Interesting.

I hope Tim is getting royalties from this.

It mildly interesting. It sounds like an 80's pop song, in fact, very close to one, I can almost identify it, but not quite...

You can download a live version of Gomez' version here, if you're interested: http://www.owlandbear.com/2009/05/01/do ... 009-flacs/

Listened to this a while back. Very strange. It's not my cup of tea, but props to Gomez for having such good taste. The original can't be surpassed.
