Hello people,
I just stumbled across this while I was looking for more information on The Fire Show.

http://www.kim-cohen.com/BYAS.html

It's two long tracks of weird loopy background-sort-of-stuff, and Tim Rutili was involved.

"Flossie" on the "The Absolute Middle of Nowhere, Volume 17" CD is the same as "Sister Flossie" on RRM's 1st album.

Did anyone post the song "Mouse-ish" on the Idiot Son 10" single?

one that passed me by....

Mark Fry, who recorded one of the rarest 70's albums EVER, the acid folk classic 'Dreaming with Alice' (£2,000+ a copy on ebay) - has put together an exclusive 7" single for us combining a live version of 'The Witch' with a superb new recording of the title track from 'Dreaming'. We've only pressed up 300 copies - we're already down to the last 50 so get over to www.fruitsdemerrecords.com fas

Acid-folk/vinyl junkie heaven! Mark's new single - exclusive to Fruits de Mer Records - combines a live version of 'The Witch' with a superb new recording of the title track from 'Dreaming', produced and mixed by Nick Franglen, no less... ...this is the first time that 'Dreaming with Alice' has been released in a complete, uninterrupted form. We've been waiting since 1972 for this and it's brilliant stuff - 'Alice' retains the spirit of the original recording but with wonderful production and instrumentation;'The Witch' was recorded live in Chicago in 2008 with the help of a few friends in bands such as Califone, Hands of Hydra and the Singleman Affair. Get your order in sharpish - just $8 a copy - there's only around 50 of our pressing of 300 copies left (it's currently No.12 in the Piccadilly Records Folk chart, just in case you're interested)
